rainyday is a nostalgic trio of classic electric pianos sampled to cassette tape through an array of gentle ribbon microphones in a backyard studio hidden in the Olympia countryside. At its heart lies a collection of rain-inspired noise generators, each sculpted with precision and warmth, blurring the line between sound design and emotional memory. Whether you’re crafting soft sonata or a funky blues tune, a thick ambient atmosphere, or crackling cinematic arpeggios, rainyday bends to your composition like fog to a flashlight.

The 3D user interface isn’t just a tool it’s a whole world. Every animation and reflection in the plug-in is rendered with ray-traced precision, evoking a sense of touch, weight, and place using real photoscans of both the sampled instruments and the studio they call home. Featuring 4 mic signals, tremolo and envelope controls, an intuitive arpeggiator, and six powerful digital effects, rainyday is designed to disappear into your workflow and reappear in your mix as pure mood.
